Spotlight on Orchids Feb 20-April 4
Nothing is quite the same this year, not even the annual NYBG orchid show extravaganza. However, if you're up for some unusual orchids, you can visit the NY Botanical Garden's Haupt Conservatory to see orchid displays that are planted as they might be found in nature. Some of this year's orchids are from the NYBG's renowned collections, and you'll also see floral exhibitions by the garden's horticulturists featuring orchids in combination with tree trunks, rocks. vines, and other "found" materials.
10am-5pm.
