Walk in through those gates at Buckingham Palace, and you will be transported to the land of gardens and gardening at this year's Philadelphia Flower Show.
From Hidcote to Abbey Road to the Crown Jewels and the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, it is all here.
Most of the gardens are in the formal style, but you will see a lot of imaginative displays and of course lots of new plants. I particularly liked the Helleborus x Ballardiae HGC Mahogany Snow and the Euphorbia Blackbird.
And the special floral displays this year are excellent–even an almost full size Dowager Lady Grantham from Downton Abbey fashioned almost entirely from moss.
The show is open through next weekend … worth a trip to Philadelphia.
